PAYROLL & PAYROLL TAX ADMINISTRATION
Responsible for payroll tax liabilities and any penalties
Taking on payroll and tax administration costs
SUTA calculation and remittance
Administer employee payroll processing
Tracking employee PTO, Sick time and Vacation accruals
Federal and State withholdings
940 preparation and remittance
941 preparation and remittance
Distribution of payroll checks
Responsible for all payroll changes including status changes
Manage direct deposits for numerous employees
Preparation of reports; management, etc.
Responsible for wage garnishments
Comply with Wage and Hour
Reporting to government agencies
Field employee questions; i.e. W-2s, etc.
HUMAN RESOURCES
Responsible for cost of Human Resource Management
Maintain a qualified and up to date Human Resource Department
Recruit and Hire new employees
Process and maintain New Hire paperwork; W-4, IT2104, I-9
Report new hires to the state
Conduct employee terminations
Manage employee files
Maintain company policies, practices, and forms; update these materials as necessary to comply with regulations; FMLA, EEOC, Wage and Hour etc.
Maintain State and Federal compliance
Provide and maintain employee handbook
Respond to all employment related inquires from government agencies
Prepare for internal audits
Manage unemployment claims and unemployment claim liability
Manage postings of required employment notices, and replace any missing or outdated information

Secure health insurance policy and stand alone on renewal

Secure and execute retirement plans and retain fiduciary liabilities
Manage employee eligibility tracking and notifications
WORKER’S COMPENSATION
Responsible for all workers’ compensation insurance liabilities
Secure workers’ compensation insurance policy and stand alone on renewals
Fund workers’ compensation insurance deposits
Negotiate rates
Prepare workers’ compensation audits
Manage safety program
Pay premiums based on payroll estimates compared to actual wages
Comply with workplace safety regulations and coverage requirements
Prepare and file first notice of injury forms
Manage required safety postings
Conduct accident investigations
Maintain and manage OSHA 300 log
Comply with OSHA regulations
Issue certificates of insurance
